> REF:#fab80bb65a77050fPosition Summary: The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for shift leadership and operations within a clinical department, ensuring nursing care safety and quality. This role involves supervising nursing staff, providing patient care, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support patient and family services. The Clinical Supervisor also coaches employees and serves as a role model for clinical excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
- Certifications: Current RN license in New Mexico, BLS, ACLS (or obtain within 6 months), PALS/NRP, and TNCC (if applicable).
- Skills: Knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care.
- Experience: 3 years of relevant experience.
Supervision: Reports to the Cancer Center Director.
Environment: Works irregular hours with exposure to infectious diseases and requires handling emergency situations.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, transfer patients, and possess normal hearing and visual acuity.
