Job Description
> REF:#f9ebe260f0d87481An Occupational Therapist Assistant (OTA) supports licensed occupational therapists in implementing patient treatment programs, adhering to federal and state regulations.
Essential Duties:
- Conducts resident screenings as permitted.
- Assists with rehabilitative activities and exercises from treatment plans.
- Monitors and encourages residents during activities.
- Records progress for occupational therapist review.
- May help with scheduling, paperwork, and supply management.
- Trains residents, caregivers, and families per care plans.
- Completes documentation in line with policies and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree from an AOTA accredited program.
- Licensed COTA as required by state law.
