Position: Radiation Therapist I

Location: Detroit, Michigan

Job Summary: Operates x-ray therapy equipment to simulate and treat patients for malignancies and pain under supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Document treatment procedures and verify accuracy.
• Perform daily quality assurance checks on equipment.
• Conduct calculations and basic dosimetry as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Radiation Therapy Technology or equivalent.
• Current ARRT registration or registry eligible; must complete registry exam within one year.
• Ability to operate linear accelerators and simulators with minimal supervision.

Schedule: Full-time, 7:30am-4:00pm, 80 hours per pay period. No on-call or weekend work.
