RN, Registered Nurse – ECC Emergency Care – PRN

Job Description

We are seeking a competent Nurse to provide both routine and complex care in our 27-bed Emergency Department, a Level 4 Trauma Center. The role involves independent practice, critical thinking, and effective delegation to manage clinical situations. Responsibilities include:

• Utilizing the nursing process for patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Administering medications and treatments while monitoring their effectiveness.
• Documenting patient care and educating patients and families.
• Ensuring patient safety and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree in Nursing, a Texas RN License, and relevant certifications. The position is per diem, with a work schedule of 7 AM – 7 PM.
