Job Description

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering patient care under the nurse director’s leadership, ensuring care is appropriate for patients’ age and development. Key responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, and collaboration with the healthcare team. The nurse also provides education and maintains high standards of nursing care and patient safety.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct ongoing patient assessments focusing on physiological, psychosocial, and cognitive status.
• Develop and prioritize goal-directed care plans based on patient needs and available resources.
• Implement care consistently and evaluate its effectiveness.
• Identify and address learning needs of patients and their families.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school and current Ohio RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification and willingness to obtain additional certifications as required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under stress.
• Leadership skills and a positive attitude towards patients and colleagues.
• Basic computer skills and a willingness to improve proficiency.
