> REF:#f3964e098b8c95c2The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing echocardiograms to assess patients’ cardiovascular anatomy and physiology. Key responsibilities include using ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images in line with established guidelines and departmental protocols.
- Licensure: Required to be a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, with Basic Life Support certification.
- Education: Graduate in Cardiac Ultrasound or an Associate’s Degree in Cardiovascular Sonography.
- Experience: Preferred 1 year of clinical experience in ultrasound.
