Job Description

Summary:

A Registered Professional Nurse delivers patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Responsibilities include prescribing, delegating, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating patient teaching and ancillary nursing activities while upholding professional standards. The nurse provides both direct and indirect patient care.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience in a hospital setting (full-time) or in Endoscopy (part-time).
• Current Texas nursing license.
• CPR, Medication Competence, and Computer Competence certifications required within specified timeframes.
• AHA ACLS and PALS certifications required within twelve (12) weeks.
