Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Respiratory Care/Full-Time

Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for assessing, administering, monitoring, and providing therapy for respiratory care procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• EDUCATION: Completion of a CoARC accredited respiratory care program.
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Active New Mexico RCP license, NBRC RRT credential, and BLS certification required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred.
• SKILLS: Manual dexterity for therapy and equipment operation.
• EXPERIENCE: Preferred experience in all age-specific competency groups.

NATURE OF SUPERVISION: Reports to the Manager of Respiratory Therapy Center.

ENVIRONMENT: Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and aerosol/serum-borne pathogens.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to perform CPR and demonstrate manual dexterity.
