Position Summary: The CT Technologist is responsible for delivering quality patient care through diagnostic imaging and related procedures while adhering to radiation safety principles.
Responsibilities:
Exercise professional judgment and maintain a quality care demeanor.
Recognize patient conditions and ensure successful procedure completion.
Comply with state and federal regulations.
Assess patient needs and provide clear instructions.
Perform patient identification and document clinical history accurately.
Position patients and equipment to achieve high-quality images.
Apply radiation safety principles and participate in Quality Control tasks.
Administer contrast medications and provide medical aid in emergencies.
Supervise and train student technologists.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Valid Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure and ARRT or NMTCB certification in CT.
Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
No prior experience required.
