Summary:
The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing, planning, evaluating, and implementing care for patients in physical therapy, adhering to the Physical Therapy Practice Act.
Responsibilities:
Gather data from charts and collaborate with physicians.
Independently assess assigned patients.
Recognize additional needs and make informed decisions on testing.
Interpret results and set measurable, realistic goals.
Reassess patient progress regularly.
Identify and discuss appropriate equipment with patients and families.
Requirements:
Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
LPT License in the state of employment.
BLS certification.
