Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a vital role in an interdisciplinary team, addressing the comprehensive needs of hospice patients and their families. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinating care and conducting ongoing assessments of patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
• Supervising nursing tasks delegated to aides and volunteers.
• Providing education on patient care and pain management.
• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings.
• Maintaining effective communication and documentation.

Qualifications include a current nursing license and at least two years of relevant experience. The RN must also have reliable transportation and be available for on-call shifts.
