- Assessing patients’ therapeutic and functional status and developing care plans.
- Directing treatment, instructing patients and caregivers, and reporting patient progress to physicians.
- Initiating therapy programs, training in prosthetic use, and identifying additional home health needs.
- Submitting clinical documentation and participating in discharge planning.
- Supervising physical therapy assistants and providing in-service education.
Qualifications include a degree in physical therapy, state licensure, and two years of relevant experience. The role is full-time, on the road, with a pay range of $55.00 – $105.00 per hour and various benefits.
