Job Title: Physical Therapist – Specialist

Overview: The Physical Therapist-Specialist is tasked with developing the Physical Therapy Specialty service line, which includes creating clinical protocols, coordinating patient flow, and monitoring treatment progress while communicating with referring physicians.

Responsibilities:

• Support physicians and patients in a clinic setting.
• Coordinate patient care for rehabilitation needs.
• Conduct evaluations and interpret results to guide treatment plans.
• Set treatment goals and perform various therapeutic techniques.
• Document patient progress and communicate with referring physicians.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and maintain a professional environment.
• Ensure compliance with safety and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed by the State of Illinois (PT) and CPR certification required.
• Preferred certifications in various specialized techniques.

Working Environment: Involves extensive walking, standing, kneeling, and heavy lifting.
