A Day in the Life:
Provide expert care for children and young adults with breathing and cardiopulmonary disorders.
Perform treatments and diagnostic procedures to enhance residents’ quality of life.
Shift options: 18, 30, or 36 hours per week, 6:45 AM 7:15 PM.
Responsibilities:
Communicate professionally with residents, families, and staff.
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
Teach and support residents and medical trainees.
Participate in Pulmonary Rounds.
Administer treatments, pulmonary procedures, and manage ventilators.
Stay current with certifications and emergency protocols.
Qualifications:
Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Kentucky.
National Board of Respiratory Care certification.
Active BLS certification.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
