Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Job Description

ECU Health North Hospital is a 204-bed accredited facility in North Carolina, serving multiple counties and offering a range of medical services, including a 24-hour emergency department.

Position Summary:

• Provide nursing care per North Carolina Board of Nursing standards and hospital policies.
• Coordinate care by assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
• Evaluate patient progress and document care processes, considering age-specific needs.
• Promote effective teamwork and delegate tasks as appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current North Carolina RN license or compact state licensure.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
