Job Description

This position involves managing and coordinating daily operations in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at West Penn Hospital, a 63-bed Level III nursery. The role includes providing clinical and administrative leadership, contributing to strategic planning, and ensuring quality patient care in alignment with professional standards.

• Leadership: Model organizational values, conduct performance appraisals, and promote professional development.
• Quality and Patient Safety: Implement evidence-based practices, monitor departmental performance, and assist in regulatory readiness.

Qualifications: Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, RN license, and at least one year of clinical leadership experience. A Master’s Degree and national certification are preferred.
