Overview:
Assist nurses and physicians in addressing patients’ preventative and restorative health needs, providing quality care in cardiac and respiratory services for various age groups, including infants and older adults.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy program.Registered Respiratory Therapist certification required.CPR certification required.Previous healthcare experience preferred.Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
Perform therapeutic and diagnostic procedures per departmental guidelines.Communicate patient therapy changes to nursing staff.Educate patients and families.Maintain clinical competency and equipment.Assist with clerical tasks as needed.
