The role involves providing high-quality physical therapy services to patients while supervising therapy assistants, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing patients’ therapeutic and functional status.
- Developing and directing treatment plans based on physician’s orders.
- Instructing patients and caregivers on therapeutic appliances and treatment goals.
- Participating in discharge planning and maintaining communication with care teams.
- Supervising therapy assistants and adhering to company policies.
Qualifications:
- Degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state license and two years of clinical experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and valid driver’s license.
