The Radiologic Technologist position is a full-time role reporting to the Director of the Breathing Center, with a salary range of $40k-$55k. The technologist is responsible for performing high-quality X-rays, particularly for patients with occupational lung disease, while adhering to patient care and safety protocols. This role involves educating patients and their families, scheduling and tracking Department of Labor Testing, and advising on available Federal and State OP benefits.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing X-rays and maintaining accurate logs
  • Updating policy manuals and serving as a resource for staff
  • Tracking patients using various applications
  • Promoting the Black Lung Program and assisting with benefits counseling
  • Documenting patient information in EMR and paper charts
  • Participating in community outreach and rehabilitation sessions

    • Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program, and a current WV Radiologic Technology License.
