Summary:
Assist in performing ultrasounds under the supervision of a Registered Ultrasound Technologist, ensuring accurate imaging for diagnosis. Responsibilities include patient transport, clerical tasks, and maintaining a clean and efficient workflow in the ultrasound department.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate knowledge of ultrasound principles and human anatomy.
  • Follow infection control procedures and ensure proper patient identification.
  • Assist in procedures and maintain accurate records in EPIC and PACS.
  • Communicate effectively and adhere to hospital policies and regulations.
  • Complete all duties by shift end, ensuring readiness for subsequent exams.

    • Requirements:
    High School Diploma or equivalent; enrolled in an accredited medical sonography program; BLS certification preferred.
