Job Summary:

The Triage Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care at Whitney Young Health, focusing on patient triage for walk-in patients while ensuring excellent customer service. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, managing patient flow, and collaborating with healthcare staff to deliver quality care. The RN must demonstrate knowledge of age-specific care, respond to emergencies, and maintain compliance with regulations. The role also involves telephonic consultations, performance improvement participation, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; NY State RN license.
• 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience; CPR certification required.
• Preferred: Experience in Triage or Emergency settings; bilingual skills.

Salary: $67,000 – $75,000 annually.
