Job Description

Position: Nurse Resident – Full Time (36 hours/week) with a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Summary: The Newly Licensed Registered Nurse (NLRN) provides high-quality nursing care using a holistic approach to promote patient wellness and safety. This role is for nurses in their first year of practice, transitioning to Staff Registered Nurse after one year. NLRNs cannot cover shifts or breaks until orientation is complete.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a nursing program (Diploma, Associate, or BSN) and passed state board examination.
• Must enroll in a BSN program within 12 months if not already holding a BSN.
• Complete medication and IV challenge exams during orientation.
• Maintain CPR certification.

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care.
• Facilitate learning for patients and healthcare team members.
• Ensure safety and quality in nursing practice.
