We are hiring for a full-time nursing position in the Med/Surg department at St. Vincent’s East in Birmingham, AL, offering a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000. The role involves providing direct nursing care in a 23-bed unit focused on various medical conditions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and monitoring patient care plans.
  • Coordinating care among healthcare disciplines.
  • Carrying out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assessing discharge planning needs.

    • Requirements:

  • BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
  • Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
  • Diploma from an accredited nursing school.
