Summary:

The Emergency Department RN is responsible for assessing patient and family health issues, leading the nursing care plan, and providing technical nursing interventions to a diverse patient population. This role requires understanding the developmental needs of patients of all ages and actively participating in the hospital’s mission and core values.

Requirements:

• Ability to prioritize daily workflow and communicate effectively with various education levels.
• One year of recent experience preferred; bilingual skills are a plus.
• Current Louisiana RN License, BLS, and ACLS & PALS certification within three months of hire.
• De-Escalation and TNCC certifications preferred.
