Job Description

Position Overview: Seeking a Registered Nurse for a PRN role in a 16-bed small-format hospital, working night shifts (7p-7a). The nurse will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care, ensuring comfort and safety while adhering to legal and hospital policies.

Essential Functions:

• Provide age-specific nursing care and follow physician’s orders.
• Maintain patient privacy and adhere to infection control procedures.
• Collect lab samples and perform testing per established regulations.
• Recognize critical findings and communicate changes in patient conditions.
• Demonstrate advanced patient monitoring and assessment skills.

Qualifications:

• BSN preferred; ADN or Nursing Diploma required.
• Current RN licensure and 2 years of experience in high acuity settings.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred.
