Patient Care Technician (PCT) – RN Nursing Students

Job Description

Under the supervision of a registered nurse, this role involves assisting in patient care and comfort, documenting observations, and ensuring efficient unit operations. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and one of the following: CNA certification, nursing school enrollment with clinical experience, or two years of relevant experience. CPR certification is required. Responsibilities include:

• Providing hygiene, nutrition, and elimination care.
• Monitoring vital signs and reporting changes.
• Maintaining patient safety and security.
• Promoting unit efficiency and adhering to policies.
• Performing additional tasks as needed.
