Under a licensed nurse’s supervision, the STNA assists with daily living activities, ensuring residents’ comfort and well-being while promoting safety and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) like bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in residents’ conditions.
- Document care provided and maintain accurate health records.
- Ensure resident safety and comfort by following protocols.
- Provide emotional support and engage residents in activities.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop care plans.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current STNA certification.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
