The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for coordinating and conducting nutrition education and medical nutrition therapy programs for patients, community organizations, and professional staff. Key responsibilities include:

  • Formulating therapeutic diet menus based on patients’ medical conditions.
  • Developing care plans based on nutritional assessments.
  • Providing nutrition education and billing for services.
  • Documenting nutritional status and care plans in medical records.
  • Instructing patients and families on dietary principles and food preparation.
  • Participating in community education and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, at least one year of clinical experience, and registration as a dietitian. Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency are required.

Work is conducted in a clinical office environment, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
