> REF:#dc70b04b11116b01The Clinical Dietitian is responsible for coordinating and conducting nutrition education and medical nutrition therapy programs for patients, community organizations, and professional staff. Key responsibilities include:
- Formulating therapeutic diet menus based on patients’ medical conditions.
- Developing care plans based on nutritional assessments.
- Providing nutrition education and billing for services.
- Documenting nutritional status and care plans in medical records.
- Instructing patients and families on dietary principles and food preparation.
- Participating in community education and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, at least one year of clinical experience, and registration as a dietitian. Strong communication skills and basic computer proficiency are required.
Work is conducted in a clinical office environment, adhering to HIPAA regulations.
