MRI Technologist – Afternoon Shift, Holiday and Weekends Off

Job Description

We are seeking an MRI Technologist to perform complex MRI procedures to assist in diagnosing injuries and diseases.

Minimum Qualifications:
– High School Diploma or equivalent
– ARRT or ARMRIT MRI certification within 1 year of hire
– State licensure as MRI Technologist or Apprentice (varies by location)
– Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:
– ARRT Certification in Radiography
– 1 year of MRI experience

Core Responsibilities:
– Prepare and explain exams to patients
– Maintain safety protocols
– Assist physicians during exams
– Process exams for PACS
– Participate in education and professional development

Physical Requirements:
– Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
– Extended periods of standing and walking

Working Environment:
– Exposure to strong magnetic fields and potential health risks

Schedule:
– 4 (10-hour) afternoon shifts, no weekends/holidays
