The CRNA is responsible for administering anesthesia to surgical and obstetrical patients under a delegating physician, with accountability to the Medical Director. Key duties include:
- Assessing patients peri-operatively and reviewing health records.
- Performing anesthesia procedures, including general, regional, and local anesthesia.
- Initiating and transcribing orders from collaborating physicians.
- Managing intravenous fluids and medications.
- Conducting post-operative rounds and providing patient education.
Requirements:
- Master of Science in Nursing.
- 2-3 years of experience preferred.
- APRN License, CRNA certification, ACLS, PALS, and BLS required.
Work schedule is PRN, per diem as needed.
