Clinical Nurse (RN) Critical Care Per Diem

Job Description

Job Summary: Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) graduate from an accredited program with a current New Mexico or Compact state license. BLS certification is required within two weeks of hire, with additional certifications needed within six months. The RN must possess skills relevant to the patient population, demonstrate sensitivity to patient rights, and communicate effectively. Responsible to the Patient Care Director or Manager, the role involves working in environments with potential exposure to infectious diseases and requires physical stamina for patient care tasks.

• Education: Accredited RN program graduate.
• Certifications: Current RN license, BLS certification, and other required certifications.
• Skills: Knowledge of patient care, communication, and patient rights.
• Environment: Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious diseases.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to handle emergencies, extensive standing/walking, and manual dexterity.
