The nurse will supervise PACU and pre-operative staff and may make decisions in the absence of management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an NLN accredited nursing school.
- Licenses: Current RN license in New Mexico or a Compact state; BLS required within 2 weeks, ACLS and PALS within 6 months.
- Skills: Effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to nursing standards.
- Experience: Preferred background in PACU, critical care, or general nursing.
Environment: Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, requiring personal protective equipment. Physical demands include lifting and manual dexterity, with potential exposure to hazardous conditions.
