Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for delivering comprehensive respiratory care to patients of all ages. Key duties include:

• Invasive and non-invasive ventilator management
• Airway management and aerosol medication administration
• Chest physical therapy and oxygen therapy
• Blood gas analysis and pulmonary function testing
• Participation in code blue and rapid response teams
• Neonatal resuscitation support and patient education

Qualifications include:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist and NC Respiratory Care Practitioner licenses
• Basic and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certifications (within 1 year of hire)
• Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• 1 year of clinical experience preferred
