Oncology Per Diem Pharmacist

GENERAL FUNCTION: The role involves providing quality patient care for oncology patients, ensuring safe and effective drug therapy through independent decision-making and clinical judgment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Provide drug and clinical information to healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with drug storage and accountability regulations.
• Monitor drug refrigerator temperatures.
• Serve as a resource for clinic staff on pharmacy issues.
• Support e-scripting needs and oversee chemotherapy drug orders.
• Manage clinic and research pharmacy in accordance with laws.
• Supervise Pharmacy Technicians and support drug management processes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: PharmD degree from an accredited school, BCOP certification, and at least two years of oncology pharmacy experience.
