> REF:#d2d47552e59d83b0Job Summary: The role involves planning and administering physical therapy treatment programs to help patients restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability after disease, injury, or loss of a body part.
Essential Functions:
- Utilizes an outward mindset to achieve personal and team goals.
- Assesses prescribed therapies and sets appropriate goals based on patient conditions.
- Records treatment details and patient responses as per policy.
- Evaluates physician referrals and patient records to determine necessary treatments.
- Conducts tests and measurements, administers therapeutic exercises, and provides manual therapy.
- Demonstrates strong communication and customer service skills.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be a licensed physical therapist in Michigan or eligible for licensure within three months, and obtain BLS certification within the same timeframe.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Preferred one year of outpatient experience and strong interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions: Potential exposure to infectious diseases.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, reach, and lift/carry varying weights.
