Job Description

The LPN/RN Hall Nurse position involves providing nursing care to assigned residents in a long-term care setting. The role requires a minimum of graduation from an approved LPN program, with preferred training in rehabilitative practices and experience in a medical facility. Key responsibilities include planning unit activities, ensuring compliance with policies, maintaining confidentiality, administering medications, and monitoring residents’ conditions. The nurse must communicate effectively with residents, families, and medical staff while adhering to safety and infection control protocols. The position demands strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and flexibility in scheduling.
