Job Description
This role involves performing high-quality echocardiography procedures in a respectful, safe, and efficient manner.
Candidates should have a degree or certificate from an accredited Echocardiography program, be registered or registry eligible, and proficient in TEE, stress echo, and contrast studies.
At least two years of work experience is preferred.
Must be physically capable of operating equipment, assisting patient movement, and lifting up to 20 pounds.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including after-hours and weekends, with a 30-minute response time for STAT procedures is required.
Key responsibilities include verifying patient and order accuracy, recognizing abnormal results, assisting during TEE and cardioversion procedures, and maintaining high standards for all studies.
Effective communication, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to urgent situations are essential for success in this role.
