Educational Nurse Specialist-RN-Periop

Job Summary: The Educational Nurse Specialist is tasked with designing, implementing, and evaluating nursing staff development and continuing education to enhance staff competency and improve patient outcomes. This role includes managing performance improvement projects and contributing to policy and procedure revisions.

Qualifications:

• Current Georgia RN License
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• Preferred AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, or NRP Instructor certification
• Five years of clinical experience, with education and training experience
• Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Knowledge of audiovisual equipment setup is a plus
