Job Description

Job Summary: The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under a licensed physical therapist to assist with patient treatment programs, adhering to federal and state guidelines.

Essential Duties:

• Provide direct treatment to residents as per the care plan.
• Document resident progress towards goals.
• Teach exercises and instruct on the use of assistive devices.
• Complete required documentation in line with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree from an APTA accredited program.
• Licensed or intent to obtain PTA license.

Physical Demands: Shift work may be required; frequent standing, walking, and exposure to bodily fluids.
