Job Description

The Vice President of Quality and Clinical Excellence will lead the development and execution of strategies to enhance patient safety and quality across the health system. This role involves collaborating with clinical and operational leaders to standardize practices, reduce variability, and ensure adherence to best practices, while sharing accountability for achieving high-quality outcomes. Key responsibilities include overseeing patient safety initiatives, quality management plans, and public reporting programs, as well as mentoring staff and managing departmental budgets. Candidates should have 7-10 years of quality improvement experience in healthcare, strong leadership skills, and relevant certifications.

• Education: 7-10 years of quality improvement experience; 5 years in managerial roles.
• Skills: Knowledge of performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and patient safety.
• Certifications: RN preferred; CPPS or CPHQ required.
