> REF:#cb456e51eaa2a141Position Summary: The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) is responsible for delivering routine nursing care and ensuring timely and accurate medication administration in accordance with established policies. The CMA works under the direction of nursing supervisors to maintain high-quality resident care.
Qualifications:
- Current CMA certification required.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Must possess patience, tact, and a cheerful disposition.
General Duties:
- Assist in passing medications to residents.
- Prepare and transport residents for various activities.
- Administer medications accurately and document accordingly.
- Assist residents with hygiene and bathing.
- Follow infection control procedures.
- Chart necessary information each shift.
- Maintain a professional image and protect resident rights.
