Job Summary:
The MRI Technologist will perform MRI exams under supervision, ensuring adherence to practice standards and protocols. Responsibilities include patient care, education, documentation, and enforcing safety protocols. The role requires both independent and team collaboration.
Specific Responsibilities:
Conduct MR imaging procedures and explain them to patients.
Obtain patient consent and maintain comfort during exams.
Administer contrast agents as needed and ensure timely documentation in PACS.
Provide excellent customer service and perform equipment checks.
Participate in meetings and comply with policies.
Required Education & Experience:
High school diploma and completion of a certified radiology program.
Current ARRT certification in MRI and BLS certification.
Minimum 2 years of MRI clinical experience preferred.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of MRI procedures and protocols.
Proficient in PACS and Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
