RN (ED) – FT/72 Nights

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide patient care in accordance with nursing standards and regulations, utilizing the Nursing Process for care and documentation, including delegation of tasks. Compliance with State and Federal healthcare laws is essential, and the RN may need to float to other departments during low census periods.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Active Vermont RN license or compact state RN license
• Six months of nursing experience preferred
• Knowledge of nursing care across the lifespan
• Effective communication and people skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and technology in care delivery
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, basic dysrhythmia
• De-escalation training (post-hire), ESI Course (within one year)
• CEN and ENPC certifications preferred
