Job Title: Bone Densitometry Technologist

Department: X-Ray

Position Summary: Operates Dexa equipment, performs procedures, evaluates images, and manages patient interactions.

Essential Duties:

• Prepares and positions patients for Dexa procedures.
• Explains procedures to alleviate patient anxiety.
• Adjusts equipment for optimal imaging quality.
• Practices radiation safety protocols.
• Processes and reviews images for quality control.
• Maintains records and performs routine equipment maintenance.
• Must be flexible with location and shift assignments.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Certifications: MRTBE (CRT), ARRT (R), CPR.
• Physical ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
