Registered Nurse (RN) – Torrance County Detention Facility

Job Description

We are seeking Registered Nurses for the Torrance County Detention Facility in Estancia, NM, offering a pay range of $42.31 – $54.89 per hour. Candidates should have a passion for providing high-quality care in an institutional setting and be able to perform various nursing functions, including:

• Applying nursing skills in the treatment of inmates/residents.
• Attending sick calls with physicians and preparing for examinations.
• Assessing and referring inmates/residents for further medical care as needed.
• Performing emergency procedures and supervising nursing staff.

Qualifications:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current state licensure required.
• Preferred one year of professional nursing experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
