Registered Nurse (RN) PMC PAIN/ Part-Time

Job Description

Position Summary: The role involves directing and providing post-anesthesia nursing care for patients of all ages, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse will supervise PACU or pre-operative staff and may make decisions in the absence of management.

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an NLN accredited nursing school.
• Licenses: Current RN license in New Mexico or a Compact state; BLS certification required within 2 weeks; ACLS and PALS within 6 months.
• Skills: Effective communication, teamwork, and adherence to nursing standards.
• Experience: Preferred in PACU, ambulatory care, or critical care.

Environment: Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, requiring personal protective equipment. Physical demands include lifting and manual dexterity, with potential exposure to hazardous conditions.
