Summary:
Mammography Technologist performs various mammographic procedures while ensuring quality patient care. Effective communication and behavior must align with the organization’s mission and values.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet OneCHRISTUS Competencies.
  • Perform mammographic procedures using independent judgment.
  • Operate radiographic and support equipment.
  • Protect patients from radiation exposure.
  • Assist radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Maintain mammography equipment and supplies.
  • Ensure Quality Control/Quality Assurance compliance.
  • Adapt care methods to meet patient needs.
  • Adhere to CORE VALUES of CHRISTUS Health.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    • Requirements:
    Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program, 1-3 years in Diagnostic Radiology, 1 year in Mammography, ARRT registration, current state licensure, and BLS certification required.
