Job Description

The Laboratory Technical Specialist assists the Clinical Laboratory’s Section manager in optimizing personnel workflow and serves as a liaison between staff and management. Responsibilities include performing phlebotomy procedures on various patient age groups, leading equipment operations, recommending new methodologies, and ensuring staff training and competency. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent military training, with certification preferred but not required. The position is full-time, with day shifts and rotating weekends, and does not require on-call duties or travel.
