Psychologist – Hybrid

Job Description

Job Summary: The psychologist conducts Medical Disability Examinations (MDE) for veterans filing claims for mental health conditions such as PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety through the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA). These comprehensive exams involve mental health assessments and medical opinions but do not include treatment. Positions are available at clinics across the western United States.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive mental health examinations for various conditions.
• Provide medical opinion writing for mental health claims.
• Ensure patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and VA regulations.
• Perform one-time, no-treatment examinations.

Requirements:

• Full, unrestricted license in Psychology in the U.S.
• Graduated from an APA-approved doctorate program.

Preferred: Experience with C&P exams is a plus, but training will be provided.
