Job Description

Position Summary:
The Maternal Child Resource RN is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to neonatal, pediatric, and adolescent patients and their families through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role emphasizes evidence-based nursing practices and critical thinking, ensuring individualized care and coordination with other healthcare professionals. The RN will float between various departments, including Pediatrics, PICU, NICU, and Post Partum, and is required to work one major and one minor holiday each year.

Minimum Qualifications:
– Education: Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
– Experience: At least one year of acute care experience in Maternal Child Services
– License: Must obtain and maintain a State of Nevada RN license
– Certifications: BLS required upon hire; NRP, PALS, ACLS within six months; STABLE preferred
– Computer Skills: Ability to acquire necessary computer skills within 90 days.
